The Performance Guard™ CIO Dashboard Module enable a holistic view into the entire IT Infrastructures performance based on grouping by location, application or any other way an IT infrastructure user prefer to view end-to-end performance data.
The Performance Dashboard view will illustrate its performance based on set thresholds using metrics such as response time, availability and other standard Service Level set performance metrics. Views come with packaged Location and Application Views as well as custom views.
Location View is a default dashboard view. Once data flows in, Performance Guard automatically detects locations based on network information and group users accordingly. Once grouped, the dashboard can visually show the performance of each location based on alarms set.
Application View comes also as a default view. Once the agents have been installed, the Performance Guard server automatically detects up to 20 out-of-the-box defined main enterprise applications and their default performance thresholds. As the administrator sets new thresholds and the alarms required once the threshold is about to be reached or has been reached, the dashboard will illustrate the state of each application. Custom applications can easily be configured with a wizard.
Custom Dashboard Views can be easily configured based on a wizard. The figure below illustrates a custom location view dashboard that shows branch offices across the US and a single office in the Texas region that has exceeded the limits set and an office in Northern California that is about to break through a limit set. This display could be any image IT prefers, be it a building, campus or similar.
