Unlike the known configuration and "robot" based monitoring solutions, Performance Guard™ does not introduce any additional load on an existing IT infrastructure. Furthermore, Performance Guard™ listens and report on the current infrastructure, in essence operating independently of any changes in infrastructure and is therefore transparent and resilient to any changes in the infrastructure. All the Data In One Database
All data about the end-users performance experience is collected by an enterprise-class server and stored in standard database located on the central Performance Guard™ server. In addition, PremiTech Performance Guard™ integrates seamlessly with existing management frameworks, such as Microsoft Operations Manager, HP OpenView, IBM Tivoli and CA UniCenter etc.

Easy to install and manage
Both the server and the agent's administration and maintenance are centralized. The server installs quickly and the agents are distributed using any standard application distribution method. Once installed, the agents call the server on a scheduled basis and upload performance data. When an agent need to be changed or the profile is updated, the agent will automatically download this new profile and activate it making the agent a zero-configuration and administration installation.
Once installed, the agent automatically begins reporting to the Performance Guard server immediately after installation. This reporting data provides an instant overview of response times from all applications employed by all end-users. All existing applications - as well as any new ones - will be measured automatically. Baselines and alarms can be set after a few hours of data collection.
